1. Rental Agreement:
1.1. The rental agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the renter (“Customer”) and SpainGoCar for the rental of the vehicle specified in the reservation.
2. Booking and Reservation:
2.1. Reservations are confirmed upon payment of a non-refundable booking fee, which serves as a deposit to secure the reservation.
2.2. Confirmation of reservations is subject to vehicle availability and any specific terms associated with the booking.
2.3. SpainGoCar reserves the right to amend reservation details, including vehicle category and rental duration, based on availability.
3. Rental Period and Extensions:
3.1. The rental period commences and concludes at the dates and times specified in the reservation.
3.2. Extension of the rental period is subject to availability and must be requested in advance. Additional charges may apply.
4. Rental Requirements:
4.1. The Customer must be of legal driving age, possess a valid driver’s license, and meet all eligibility criteria.
4.2. Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement, provided they meet the same requirements.
5. Payment and Security Deposit:
5.1. Full payment, including the rental fee and any applicable security deposit, must be settled prior to the commencement of the rental period.
5.2. The security deposit is pre-authorized on the Customer’s credit card and will be released upon the satisfactory return of the vehicle.
6. Cancellation and No-Show Policy:
6.1. Cancellations made within a specified period before the rental start date may be subject to charges.
6.2. No-shows and cancellations after the rental period begins are non-refundable.
7. Vehicle Collection and Return:
7.1. Vehicles can be collected at the designated rental station or delivered to a specified address, subject to availability and applicable fees.
7.2. The Customer is responsible for returning the vehicle to the designated drop-off point at the end of the rental period. Late returns may incur additional charges.
8. Fuel Policy:
8.1. The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel at the start of the rental period.
8.2. The Customer is required to return the vehicle with the same fuel level. A refueling charge will apply if returned with less fuel.
9. Insurance and Liability:
9.1. Basic insurance coverage is included in the rental fee.
9.2. Additional insurance options are available for purchase to cover various risks. Customers are encouraged to review and choose suitable coverage.
9.3. The Customer is responsible for all damages to the vehicle, including theft, during the rental period, up to the maximum liability outlined in the Agreement.
10. Vehicle Condition and Maintenance:
10.1. The Customer is responsible for inspecting the vehicle at the time of collection and reporting any existing damage to SpainGoCar.
10.2. Routine maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations, is the responsibility of SpainGoCar.
11. Termination of Rental:
11.1. SpainGoCar reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if the Customer breaches the terms and conditions, misuses the vehicle, or fails to comply with applicable laws.
11.2. Termination of the rental will result in the immediate return of the vehicle.
12. Additional Services:
12.1. Additional services, such as GPS rental, child seats, and other accessories, are available for an extra fee. Customers are encouraged to inquire about these services during the reservation process.
13. Traffic Violations and Fines:
13.1. The Customer is responsible for any traffic violations or fines incurred during the rental period.
13.2. SpainGoCar may charge an administrative fee for processing traffic violation notices.
14. Upcoming Locations:
14.1. SpainGoCar is actively expanding its services to new locations. Customers are encouraged to stay informed about the latest locations through our website and communication channels.
15. Amendments and Updates:
15.1. SpainGoCar reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.
By proceeding with the reservation and rental, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
